Car history: |
Posted 06/07/2017 From Barrett Jackson Auction Company Lot #464 - Matching numbers 327/365hp with factory air conditioning Corvette coupe. The Trim Tag shows the car is an original 916 Daytona Blue and 899GT white leather with dark blue interior. The car is nicely optioned with Factory M20 4-speed transmission with the VIN # stamped on the side case, original 3.36:1 posi-traction rear end, power windows, power brakes, Soft Ray tinted glass and AM/FM radio. The car has recently undergone a complete restoration. It was stripped to bare glass and painted the correct 916 Daytona Blue in a show quality base/clear paint, new body weather stripping including front and rear glass was installed. The car has new show chrome, including new correct trim parts, tail lights and emblems. The white leather with dark blue, interior was removed, cleaned and detailed and a new correct Al Knoch carpet kit was installed. The original gauge cluster was restored to the highest standards. The car has a very straight body with bonding strips intact. It has a rust-free, show quality undercarriage that is nicely detailed. NCRS correct under the hood with correct hoses and ignition shielding and air cleaner. |
